NEWTOWN — Mrs. Kate Henson Hunnings, age 74, of Connersville, a former resident of Newtown, died Friday, Oct. 25, 1968, at a nursing home in Phoenix, Ariz. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Hunnings was born Dec. 8, 1893, at Newport, the daughter of Elmer E. and Ida Z. Henson. She was married Sept. 23, 1913, at Newtown, to Raymond Hunning, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Newtown United Methodist Church. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Mollie Belle Ball of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, R. H. Hunnings of Connersville and Keith of New Haven; one sister, Mrs. Helen Corbin of Graham, Tex.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son, one brother and one sister. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Newtown United Methodist Church. The Rev. Arthur Schenck officiated and burial was in the Newtown Cemetery. The Crumley-Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. --typed by Walt W
